years of fortnightly episodes

minimum turnover of every guest company

Brandpie is a global brand agency and consultancy that works at the very top of the business world - CEOs making decisions that shape entire industries. It's a rare world and it needed a podcast to match.
Pivot Points was built to do exactly that. A show about the moments that define a business - the rebrand, the merger, the change of leadership, the pivot that changed everything. Hosted by Brandpie's own CEO Dave Allen, whose warmth, intelligence and remarkable network made him a natural in front of the microphone from day one.
Two years, 50+ episodes and one trip to Oslo later, Pivot Points has become one of the most prestigious B2B shows Podcast Labs have produced over the years.
Brandpie came to Podcast Labs with ambition and a world-class host, but an uncertainty of what the show should be about. We ran a detailed strategy programme with their marketing team which included a series of workshops exploring the core themes their target audiences cared about, the format and episode structure, the brand style and the show's USP.
The insight that emerged from those sessions was sharp: the podcast would focus specifically on pivotal moments in a company's journey. It gave the show an instantly clear identity and with guests operating at the FTSE 500 level, it gave every conversation genuine weight.
Once the strategy was signed off, we moved quickly into the trailer script, music sourcing, hosting set-up, and a launch plan across Brandpie's website and social channels. We worked closely with their design team to brief the show artwork, episode cover art and audiogram templates - making sure every visual element reflected the premium world their guests inhabited.
Recording with premium guests requires a level of organisation that leaves no room for error. Every remote session is set up entirely by Podcast Labs - liasing with guests ahead of recording, providing full tech support, managing the session in real time and keeping everyone calm and confident throughout. After recording we continue the guest relationship: encouraging shares, providing detailed tailored social assets and making the whole experience as smooth as possible for some of the busiest people in the business.
Every fortnightly episode of Pivot Points is produced to an exceptional audio standard, accompanied by a full website toolkit and social toolkit to support releases across all of Brandpie's channels. After a year of strong results, Brandpie levelled up to include video clips - building out their YouTube presence and generating stronger traction on LinkedIn and Instagram with content cut from remote footage.
The moment that really moved the needle came in March 2026, when Brandpie made a bold creative call: a Nordics-focused mini-series of Pivot Points, exploring the future of three of the regions most important industries - Energy, Healthcare and IT - through the eyes of three senior CEOs. The Podcast Labs team flew to Oslo and captured these special episodes in full 4K video on a multi-camera set up.
The results? A 209% increase in episode performance compared to the pre-series average. Brandpie took note - and more mini-series are already in the pipeline for 2027.

Pivot Points is proof that the right strategy, the right host and the right production partner can build something that genuinely punches at the level of the clients it serves. Dave Allen brings the gravitas and the network. Brandpie brings the vision. Podcast Labs brings everything else - and we show up for every single episode with the same level of care we brought to the first one.
The Oslo trip raised the bar. The 2027 mini-series will raise it again. We can't wait.
"Podcast Labs are one of the best agencies I've ever worked with. We have a true partnership and true collaboration that is working wonders for our organisation. The team are absolute experts in their craft. Incredibly detail-oriented and strategic at the same time. And to top it all off, the team are an absolute delight to work with. I'd highly recommend them (and in fact have done so) to anyone looking to build out their podcasting chops!!"
